Bug Fixes

The GSPC is a combat manager for the Hero System. When a GM is running a large combat in Champions, the action can bog down in game mechanics. For a game system that is based on high energy combat, plodding through all the dice rolls and turn sequencing is unacceptable. This is why the GSCP was created. It can speed up Champions scenarios by 100%. After fourteen years of running Champions with the GSPC, none of our GMs would think of running a game without it.
It rolls all of the Hero System dice. A simple command syntax is used to roll any variation on Hero dice.

Examples:

5N 5d6 Normal Damage
3K 3d6 Killing Damage with a 1d6-1 StunX
2+S3 2d6+1 Killing Attack with 3 levels of increased stunX (1d6+2)
13E 13d6 Explosion

It also displays the knock back from attacks!

The GSPC maintains the phase chart. It will display who is acting on any given turn. It even keeps track of who has a held action remaining! There are visual flags for stunned characters, unconscious characters and flashed characters, plus customizable flags for other conditions. You can set the system to hide unconscious characters until they wake up -- great for large combats!

Macintosh Users, sorry, the development of GSPCMac has been abandoned.  No time.

Windows Purists, a 32-bit version of the GSPC for Windows  is in the works.  Things are moving forward slowly at the moment.  Update:  10/15/99 - Ok, the 32 bit version is actually in the works for real.  I am planning on having it done by the end of the year.  Good thing about finishing it will be a quick port to Windows CE for palmtop users. Update 8/12/2000 - Ok, the 32 bit version is really delayed.   I have abandoned the first version that was being developed in VB and have started again in Delphi since the original is written in Object Pascal, Delphi is a simpler upgrade.  A dice roller will be released soon, but the phase chart is a bit more complicated.

PDA Users, if version 2.02 does not run on your machine, try this older version (1.32). It is not as fancy, but it still rolls the dice and maintains the phase chart.    A WindowsCE version will be available as soon as the Win32 version is finished.
