Before winter break, Wellington celebrated community in a day filled with friends, family, and fun. During a fireside storytime with the lower school in the morning, Head of School Robert Brisk P’ 13 ‘15 read the book “The Most Perfect Snowman” about selflessness and gratitude. Afterwards, as is Wellington tradition, students walked back to their classrooms singing “Petit Papa Noël” before discovering Père Noël had left a surprise treat for them.

In the afternoon, lower school families were invited to winter parties, bringing a festive flair to the day. Students and parents later participated in a Community Sing with musical selections from holidays of varied beliefs and faiths, including Ramadan, Diwali, Chanukah, Kwanzaa, and Christmas. It was a memorable and heart-warming send off to winter break.
