A message from the Head of School.
The mission of The Wellington School has remained steadfast since it was first conceived more than 30 years ago. Giving children the courage to pursue their passions is foremost in everything we do.
We believe students should have the opportunity to excel in academics but also explore the arts, athletics, and service to the community. These activities better prepare our students as they take their place as future leaders in the global community. Curiosity and creativity are fundamental in our approach to educating the whole child. We encourage parents, students, and faculty to think big, and then we provide them with the necessary tools to make their dreams a reality.
Our campus is as enriching for our faculty and staff as it is for the students we serve. The Wellington School was recently named a Top Workplace by Columbus CEO Magazine for the fourth year in a row, and the sense of pride and delight this award continues to inspire in our entire school community is palpable. I couldn’t be prouder of the honor, because it validates so much of what we strive to achieve.
Curiosity and creativity are fundamental in our approach to educating the whole child.”
Just as a test score can’t tell the whole story of a student, neither can a website share the uniqueness of a school like this. To truly understand, you need to see it in person. I encourage you to attend an admissions event or stop by for a personal tour. My door is always open.
