POSTED BY The Wellington School ON March 1, 2018 IN

Wellington students celebrated Black History Month learning about the accomplishments of African Americans and their vast contributions to our country. From inventors, doctors, and dancers to athletes, artists, and activists, the rich heritage of African Americans was explored through in-depth research and discovery by lower schoolers. During 3rd grade share this week, students gave their parents a glimpse into their hard work, including creative displays of the profound ways notable African Americans have impacted the world.
