Seniors Take the Lead

POSTED BY The Wellington School ON September 21, 2017 IN ,

During an all-school assembly, seniors were formally inducted into their final year at Wellington and felt the love of our school community when they were adopted by lower school students. After an official welcome from Head of School Robert Brisk P ‘13 ‘15, Senior Dean Aaron Frim P ‘19 announced the privileges awarded to the Class of 2018, including a dedicated study room in the learning center for seniors only. Frim also expressed his own fondness for this group of soon-to-be graduates and his pride in their vast accomplishments.

Cuteness abounded when students in kindergarten through 4th grade sang their hearts out to their new senior buddies with the Class of 2018 sharing their own personal likes with their young admirers. Cookie dough, Mario Kart, puppies, cupcakes, basketball, and grilled cheese were just a few of their favorite things. Afterwards, seniors joined their buddies back in classrooms to spend more time getting to know each other and sharing special treats in celebration of the memorable day.
