We are excited to announce The Wellington School has been named a Top Workplace 2017 by Columbus CEO. This is the 5th year in a row that Wellington has been recognized by our employees as a terrific place to work in a survey conducted by WorkplaceDynamics. Faculty and staff were asked questions pertaining to the following areas:

‒ Alignment: where the company is headed, its values, cooperation

‒ Effectiveness: doing things well, sharing different viewpoints, encouraging new ideas

‒ Connection: employees feel appreciated, their work is meaningful

‒ My Manager: cares about concerns, helps learn and grow

‒ Employee Engagement: loyalty, motivation and referral

‒ Leader: confidence in company leadership

‒ The Basics: pay, benefits, flexibility

Wellington also received a special award for “Doers – New Ideas Are Encouraged at the Company” and was selected for a case study by WorkplaceDynamics for putting consumer engagement to the test.

“We are a forward-thinking school,” said Head of School Robert Brisk P ’13 ’15. “We strive each day to do a better job — we value time-honored traditions and embrace that which still works, but we also aren’t afraid of change that leads to improvement. That’s really part of the DNA of the school. It’s the key thing that helps us turn up on the Top Workplaces list year after year.”
