2023-24 Wellington Annual Fund
Your Giving in Action.
Dear Wellington Community,
Your investment in Wellington’s students and educators through gifts to the Annual Fund reflects your support for our school, its purpose, and its future. Wellington’s culture of continuous innovation grows out of annual giving and ensures our ongoing impact.
During the 2023-24 school year, Annual Fund contributions empowered students and faculty to construct the Wonderbus. This mobile classroom brings new dimensions to our students' education as they venture off campus to connect with diverse environments, expanding their engagement and learning.

Wonderbus: The Mobile Classroom
We believe that education extends far beyond the traditional classroom. Engagement and learning expand exponentially when students have hands-on opportunities to connect with diverse environments. Your contributions towards building the Wonderbus have created a unique learning space that redefines what a classroom can be. Now in the final stages of construction, the Wonderbus will be ready for use at the beginning of the 2024-25 school year.

Your gifts to the Well-being and Belonging fund have equipped students with essential tools to thrive in an ever-changing digital world. In January, Wellington hosted renowned clinical psychologist Dr. Catherine Steiner-Adair, who provided middle and upper school students with the skills to navigate their world better. Dr. Steiner-Adair emphasized the impact of technology on studying and information retention, offering practical tips such as the Pomodoro Technique. Funds will also provide new programming related to social media, peer-to-peer relationships, anti-bullying, and conflict resolution.

Your support for Tuition Assistance made a Wellington education accessible to more students. Through our one-time financial emergency fund, we reduce stress on families who may be experiencing hardship. During the 2023-24 school year, hardship assistance was provided to 15 Wellington students and families.

Wellington Societies
The Legacy Society represents individuals who have made a planned gift to Wellington. This support ensures that tomorrow’s students will have continued access to world-class faculty and innovative curriculum in an environment that welcomes curiosity and stirs passion for learning. All planned gifts will go toward The Wellington School Endowment Fund unless otherwise designated.
The Founders Society is a recognition society for the school's top annual investors - families contributing $10,000 or more to The Wellington Annual Fund. Members of the Founders Society make the biggest impact on Wellington program by providing important funding. This group of investors represents a substantial portion of funds raised.
The Leadership Society recognizes those donors who invest an annual gift of at least $2,500 per year, and for Alumni who contribute $1,000 or more. Members of the Leadership Society have long recognized the opportunity to lead, and in so doing, help set the bar higher for what our school can accomplish. While every gift is appreciated and we encourage families to give within their comfort level, Leadership gifts account for a substantial portion of funds raised.
