Together, we elevate Wellington
The Wellington Fund
Wellington’s culture of innovation is elevated by community. The Wellington Fund gives generous donors the opportunity to elevate the experience of today’s Wellington students through an annual gift.
The Wellington Fund 2024-25 Priorities
Civics empower today’s students to be tomorrow’s informed, active, and responsible citizens. By integrating civics into the classroom through research-backed curriculum and experiential learning, we prepare students to understand multiple perspectives and engage thoughtfully in their communities. Gifts will benefit students in each grade, from discussion-based learning and mock trial experiences in lower and middle school to scholarships that expand access to immersive experiences like Model UN and Ohio Youth in Government in upper school.
80% of Wellington’s students engage in sports, improving their perseverance, accountability, collaboration, and leadership through athletic development. Converting unused classrooms into locker rooms will elevate the middle school athletic experience, while the new training room will offer athletes from all divisions a well-equipped and more spacious area to receive treatment. The new training room will include a cold tub, washer and dryer, wet areas, taping and treatment area, rehabilitation equipment, and storage.
Gifts directed to tuition assistance support families facing unexpected financial challenges, helping them remain part of our community. These contributions also enhance support for families already receiving aid, increasing accessibility and opportunities for more students to benefit from a Wellington education.
Our commitment to innovation and adaptability requires flexibility. By directing funds where they are most needed, we can respond swiftly to ever-changing opportunities and unforeseen challenges.
Giving in Action
During the 2023-24 school year, gifts to The Wellington Fund helped bring the Wonderbus to life, bolstered our well-being and belonging programming, and made Wellington accessible to even more students though tuition assistance.
