Thanks to the thoughtful leadership of the Board of Trustees, Wellington operates with a budget balanced before considering philanthropic dollars. Without a gap cover, gifts made to The Wellington Fund don’t simply keep the lights on; they’re invested in elevating the Wellington experience. Your unrestricted gift allows us to dream, adapt, and act as we strive to be the best place to teach and learn in Central Ohio. More than 1 in 3 Wellington students currently receive tuition remission thanks to the investments of donors and the School in expanding access to a Wellington education. Your gift directly increases the amount of tuition assistance dollars available, creating more opportunities for more families. Your support also advances our strategic goals around access, helping to shape a school community strengthened by a rich variety of backgrounds, perspectives, and lived experiences.

Giving in Action

During the 2025-26 school year, 669 families contributed $1,410,787 to The Wellington Fund. These gifts made Wellington accessible to even more students though tuition assistance; expanded transportation, standardized classroom technology, and improved outdoor learning spaces and campus infrastructure; and advanced professional learning for faculty and staff.

Giving Societies

The Leadership Society recognizes those donors to The Wellington Fund who invest at least $2,500 per year, and for Alumni who contribute $1,000 or more. Members of the Leadership Society have long recognized the opportunity to lead and help set the bar higher for what our school can accomplish. Along with the Founders Society, the Leadership Society accounts for a substantial portion of funds raised.

The Founders Society is a recognition society for the school's top annual investors - families contributing $10,000 or more to The Wellington Fund. Members of the Founders Society make the biggest impact on the Wellington program by providing important funding. This group of investors represents a substantial portion of funds raised.

The Legacy Society represents individuals who have made a planned gift to Wellington. This support ensures that tomorrow’s students will have continued access to world-class faculty and innovative curriculum in an environment that welcomes curiosity and stirs passion for learning. All planned gifts will go toward The Wellington School Endowment Fund unless otherwise designated.
