Wellington Youth Basketball League

Open to boys and girls in grades 1–4, our youth basketball program builds skills, fosters teamwork, and connects young athletes with the joy of the game. Volunteer parent coaches help create a supportive, community-driven experience on and off the court.

Program Information

The Wellington Youth Basketball League is open to boys and girls in grades 1-4. Players do not have to be Wellington students.

Divisions:

1-2 Grade Boys
1-2 Grade Girls
3-4 Grade Boys
3-4 Grade Girls

You may request to play on a team with one other player, or you may register a full team with at least 8 players. All team entries must have an established coach.

All practices and games are held at The Wellington School. Dates for the 2025-26 season will be announced soon.

2024-25 Season Dates

Practice: December 27, 2024 - January 2, 2025

First Game: January 4, 2025

Final Game: February 15, 2025

Cost: $190.00

Teams are coached by volunteer parents. Head coaches receive a 50% player discount. All coaches must go through a background check with The Wellington School.
