Wellington requires the Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE) for applicants to grades 5-12. Students may take the ISEE at Wellington on January 23, 2027, at an approved testing center, or remotely from home through ERB.
The entrance exam is just one point of data we collect to determine if your child is a fit for Wellington. We do not want any part of the application process to be a barrier to completing the application. Please be aware that practice materials for the exam, testing accommodations, and fee waivers for eligible families are available. If you have questions about any of the above, please contact us at admissions@wellington.org or 614.324.1564.
Families are responsible for any applicable ISEE registration fees and those are paid directly to E3N. The cost to take the ISEE is $170-$185 per student. Wellington's ISEE school code is 365879. Because of this testing registration fee, we waive our Wellington application fee through March 1.
To register for the exam, please visit ISEE for Families. After selecting “Register for the ISEE” you will be prompted to create an account. Through this website, you can register for the exam, access testing instructions, and explore preparation resources and practice materials.

Wellington charges an International Student Fee of $8000 in addition to the regular tuition fees outlined for our enrolled students.
The international admissions process can be very time-consuming. It is recommended the family initiate the process very early. The International Student Admissions Process and Enrollment Steps must be completed in their entirety before Wellington will issue the Form I-20.
