April 20, 2020 COVID-19 Response

This is a copy of email communication sent to all Wellington parents.

Dear Wellington Community,

This brief note is to confirm that Wellington will observe the direction of Governor Mike DeWine and the Ohio Department of Health by extending our Learning from Home plans through the remainder of the 2019-2020 school year.

  • Learning From Home - As we move forward, we are committed to investing in and bolstering the excellence that makes Wellington a unique learning experience. Our education model, our small class sizes, and our individualized learning approach provided many benefits to our students before COVID-19 and these same agilities will help us adapt well across short- and long-term distance learning scenarios.

  • Events - Please know that we are giving thought and intention to the modification or postponement of all of the events that signal the traditional end of the school year. In the coming days, we will share more information on how we will address all of our year-end events.

Wellington is a resilient community. We take care of each other, and I’m confident that this will be evident in how we, collectively, finish strong in this academic year.

Take care,

Dr. Jeff Terwin
Wellington Head of School
