CELEBRATION

Congratulations to Wellington’s upper school artists recognized in the Ohio Governor’s Youth Art Exhibition. Margot Dunn ’28, Henry Kent ’27, Ellie Kirsner ’26, and Mateo Leahy ’28 were named regional winners, with Mia Meyer ’29 earning Top 250 State honors among more than 2,100 entries.

This winter, members of the Wellington community came together to host two meaningful cultural celebrations: Lunar New Year and an Iftar dinner. Both events created opportunities to gather, share traditions, and learn from one another. They offered a chance to experience different cultures firsthand while strengthening our sense of community.

Bravo to the nearly 40 Wellington students, parents, and teachers who attended a live performance of “Amadeus” at the Ohio Theatre, featuring the Columbus Symphony Orchestra and Choir. The experience brought classroom learning to life for LYCEUM students who had studied the work. Read more about the evening.

Congratulations to Lower School Science Specialist Nami Stager on her recognition by Influential Women, a platform dedicated to amplifying the voices and leadership of women across industries. A nationally recognized educator, Stager’s work at Wellington has fostered curiosity, creativity, and meaningful engagement in science classrooms. Read her feature.
