Wellington seniors stepped out of the classroom and into the real world as part of our first-ever JagsConnect offsite visits. Students had the opportunity to explore two dynamic workplaces—COTA (Central Ohio Transit Authority) and C.Krueger’s Finest Baked Goods—where they engaged with professionals, asked thoughtful questions, and gained firsthand insight into career pathways and workplace culture.
These visits were made possible thanks to the incredible support of our alumni and parent community. Sophia (Baidya) Mohr ’91 (Board Member and JagsConnect volunteer) and Casey (Brown) Blazer ’06 (JagsConnect volunteer) helped organize the COTA visit, while Duncan Forbes ’04 (WAAB member and JagsConnect volunteer) coordinated the experience at C.Krueger’s. Their leadership and generosity helped bring JagsConnect to life in the Upper School, showing students the power of the Wellington network in action.

Students returned energized and inspired, with many sharing how meaningful it was to see Wellington values reflected in the professional world. These visits are just the beginning of what JagsConnect can offer—real-world exposure, meaningful connections, and a community that continues to invest in our students long after graduation.
