Wellington Students Earn AP Scholar Awards

The Wellington School is proud to celebrate students whose academic achievements have earned recognition from College Board for their outstanding achievement on Advanced Placement Exams.

The AP Scholar Awards recognize students who demonstrate exemplary college-level achievement on AP Exams. Students qualify by earning scores of 3 or higher on multiple exams, with additional distinctions awarded for higher averages:

  • AP Scholar with Distinction: average score of at least 3.5 on all exams taken, and scores of 3 or higher on five or more exams.
  • AP Scholar with Honor: average score of at least 3.25 on all exams taken, and scores of 3 or higher on four or more exams.
  • AP Scholar: scores of 3 or higher on three or more exams.

This year’s AP Scholar honorees include:

  • AP Scholar with Distinction – Zac Barton ’26, Phoebe Bong ’27, Enzo Corso ’26, Steven Huang '27, Jiakai Li' 27, Annabeth Pan '27, Lillian Schrader '27, Annie Shen ’26, Claire Shen '26, Andy Stern '27, and Atticus Trubilowicz '27 
  • AP Scholar with Honor – Micha Houston '26, Mika Johnson '27, and Cameron King ’26
  • AP Scholar – Aayzah Khan ’26 and Taj Ruegsegger '27

These recognitions highlight both the academic achievement of individual students and Wellington’s commitment to fostering excellence in scholarship.
