Transportation
Wellington students travel to and from school in a variety of ways including by public school buses or the Wellington bus route. Bus transportation is available for all students in kindergarten through grade 12.
Wellington Bus
The cost for one-way transportation is $480 per child per semester, and round-trip is $630 per child per semester. Bus service is also available daily at a rate of $6 each way. All stops are subject to change at any time based on rider usage, and bus rates are also subject to change.

New Albany: Target (6030 N. Hamilton Road), 7:10 a.m.
Westerville: Kohl’s (133 Huber Village Blvd, Westerville, OH 43081) 7:25 a.m.
Olentangy/Worthington: Hills Market (7860 Olentangy River Rd), 7:40 a.m.
Wellington Bus Afternoon Route:
Columbus: Whetstone High School (4405 Scenic Drive), 3:55 p.m.
Olentangy/Worthington: Hills Market (7860 Olentangy River Rd), 4:05 p.m.
Westerville: Kohl’s (133 Huber Village Blvd, Westerville, OH 43081), 4:15 p.m.
New Albany: Target (6030 N. Hamilton Road), 4:30 p.m.

Registration: Parents will need to complete a Transportation Request Form. This form, along with the Emergency Medical Authorization form, will need to be filled out and sent to the Board of Education Office.

Some local school districts will offer reimbursement for bus service if they do not provide busing to The Wellington School. Families are encouraged to contact their local school district transportation office. The reimbursement amount is determined by the State of Ohio, and checks are typically issued in August or September of the following school year.
