Head of School February Update: State of the School

Dear Wellington Community,

On February 19, I had the privilege of delivering my second annual State of the School address. We began the evening with a Learning Showcase, a new tradition this year, where families experienced interactive displays of student work that brought our classrooms to life. From there, we gathered to reflect on why the world needs Wellington, celebrate how far we have come, and look ahead to the bold vision guiding our future.

In all of this, our mission remains clear: to help students find their purpose and realize their potential for tomorrow’s world. When I spend time with our students, I am filled with confidence in what lies ahead. The state of our school is strong, and it is getting stronger.

Check out highlights from the presentation below, including comprehensive updates on our academic program, student experience, finances, enrollment, philanthropy, Bold Leap strategic plan, and campus master plan.

As we reflect on what we have accomplished together and consider what comes next, your partnership remains essential. Participation in The Wellington Fund is one of the clearest indicators of our community’s shared commitment to the School. As we move through the second half of the year, I invite you to make a gift and help ensure our participation reflects the pride and belief we all share in Wellington and its mission.

Thank you for all you do for Wellington, and … Go, Jags!
